Recurring lease administration

After adoption of Japan’s new lease accounting standard, we take on recurring contract assessment, register updates, calculations and closing schedules, with specialist staff and CPA quality management.

Scope & purpose

New contracts, renewals, rent changes and terminations require continuing assessment and updates. We can inherit the register and policies prepared by our office, your own team or another adviser after reviewing their contents.

Receive contract changes

Agree how sites, procurement and administration report new, renewed, amended or terminated contracts and payment or usage information. Track missing records.

Assess and update the register

Apply agreed policies and criteria, record the basis and update assets, terms, payments and renewal or termination conditions. A CPA considers difficult accounting issues and presents information for management’s decisions.

Calculate and reconcile

Calculate right-of-use asset depreciation, lease liability interest and repayments, and revisions for contract changes. Prepare journal entry data and reconcile balances to the ledger.

Review and deliver

A CPA reviews the deliverables. Provide schedules by agreed monthly, quarterly or annual deadlines, including annual movements and disclosure figures where included.

Please share your register, accounting policies, assessment criteria, systems, total number of contracts, change frequency and closing calendar. Management decides policies and individual accounting treatments. Specialist staff perform the work; the representative or another CPA manages significant issues and quality. Contracts are generally with ICHIYAMA ACCOUNTING OFFICE; depending on the engagement they may be with 株式会社CP ARCS. We identify the contracting entity and team in the proposal.
